Description:

Pai Mu Tan is considered the most well-known "white tea," and is gaining increasing popularity in this country. A tea plant called Chaicha or Narcissus produces this tea in Fujian Province and is also known as "White Peony." After picking, the tea is dried without any technical means in the sun or indoors. The leaves offer a play of green colors in all their forms, are very voluminous, and have a beautiful proportion of elongated, white-silvery leaf tips. The cup shimmers with an amber hue and imparts an elegant, spicy flavor.
