The Bukhial Tea Estate is located in the Golaghat District and was
Founded around 1920 under the name of the McNeil & Berry Company.
The farm workers and their families came from the
nearby area “Bokotial.” The name changed
gradually to “Bokial” and after a few years finally
to “Bukhial”. Today, on approximately 570 hectares,
prized Assam teas are produced. One of these qualities is

reminiscent of dark teakwood tones, the purple glowing
