Description:

The name "Hathikuli" is composed of the words "Hati" for "elephant" and "Kul," meaning "frequent." The area where the "Hathikuli" tea garden is located is close to Kaziranga National Park and is regularly roamed by elephants. The delicate shoots of the young clonal bushes are carefully picked by hand, then immediately steamed, gently rolled, and dried. Now the organically grown tea is ready to be brewed and reveal its full potential. Untypical for Assam teas, this one has open, wiry leaves in light green tones with a matte iridescence. A very beautiful, fresh green tea that retains its classic Assam character.
