Description:

The Hunwal garden is located in the Jorhat district of the Indian state of Assam, south of the Brahmaputra River. The low elevation of up to 1,000 m above sea level, atypical for Assam, with relatively low daytime and nighttime temperatures and the associated slower plant growth, promotes very rich, robust qualities. This fine, extremely well-crafted tea comes from the second picking season. It is spicy and tart, with a pronounced aftertaste and a malty, round bouquet.
