We are pleased to present another top-quality, organically grown matcha to the ever-growing matcha fan base. Matcha is said to have been produced for the first time in the Uji district at the end of the 16th century. Altitudes of 250 m, calcium-rich soils, and frequent ground fog provide the basis for excellent, complex green teas. During preparation, the bright emerald-green matcha develops rich, matte green hues in the bowl, crowned by a grass-green, creamy foam. The aroma is sweet and fruity, with an aromatic and full-bodied flavor composition.
