 Orthodox teas from Africa are now among the absolute rarities. Nowadays, CTC grades dominate the export business and only the highland plantations Kaproret, Saramek and Chemase still cultivate crossbreeds of Chinese bushes. The demand far exceeds the low harvest yields, but thanks to long-term business relationships we have always been able to secure the best quality. Because of the striking golden brown leaf tips, the bright orange cup color and the strong, slightly floral aroma, these are often confused with Yunnan teas.
